ABOUT US

INSTITUT EVROPSKÝCH PROFESNÍCH STUDIÍ, s.r.o. (in English: The Institute of European Professional Studies, shortly IEPS) is an educational organization that provides consulting and organizational services in the area of adult and vocational education. IEPS has been established in 2001 in Prague, the Czech Republic and celebrates already its 20 years of existence.

We employ up to 10 experts from various fields and cooperate with dozens of external experts, teachers, educators, consultants, lecturers, IT and ICT specialists, software developers, graphic designers and translators. We also cooperate with a broad range of Czech companies in different fields of industry and services and have a broad network of vocational and practical schools predominantly on the level of secondary education.

Our courses and training are based on competence-learning principles with a special focus on interactivity and gamification. We pay special attention to the use and development of digital training materials, e-education, MOOC and other ICT-based materials like apps and training software.

Due to the recent development of the Covid-19 pandemic, we transferred most of the activities into the online space and develop new approaches how to provide education to adults via online communication software and platforms.

As part of the lifelong learning, we implement several different training courses for the public, such as certified marketing and sales courses or requalification courses in the field of industrial production, IT or marketing.

Company courses

Do you need to train your employees but cannot find the right course just for you? Try our company courses and tailor-made training for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The main areas of education provided are social entrepreneurship and corporate responsibility, diversity and inclusion practices in the daily life of the company, development of soft-skills skills (communication skills, development of empathy and emotional intelligence, presentation skills, stress management, mental health, managerial competencies, etc.), sustainable company production and company growth or building employee resilience.

School training courses and student internships

We implement informal educational courses and trainings for students and young adults of secondary vocational schools. We focus on the development of soft skills towards strengthening the values of equality, tolerance, diversity and inclusion or, for example, the development of critical thinking.

We also organize professional internships for students of vocational education and establish practical cooperation between Czech companies and secondary vocational schools and apprenticeships.

OTHER SERVICES

We also provide printing and graphic services as well as translation services. The graphical services involve the creation of various publications, brochures, leaflets, educational materials, marketing materials, company guidelines as well as promo materials. We secure the content development, design aspects and printing services and/or online promotion. As for the translation services, we provide professional translation services from English to Czech as well as Czech to English.
