YoungLEAD Project Successfully Concludes with Publication on EPALE

As the YoungLEAD project reaches its conclusion in October 2025, we are pleased to look back on two years of inspiring cooperation aimed at supporting pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds in developing leadership, communication, and social-emotional skills. Throughout the project, our partners from the Czech Republic, Ireland, and Spain worked together to create practical tools for teachers and youth educators. These resources include the Methodic Guideline, a handbook with inclusive teaching strategies, a collection of Leadership Games, designed to help pupils build confidence and essential social competencies and a digital Learning Nuggets - short, engaging bits of content designed for you to use together in the classroom. One of the activities in the final stage of the project was sharing our results with European education professionals through the EPALE platform: General description of YoungLEAD project: https://epale.ec.europa.eu/en/content/younglead-fostering-leadership-and-european-values-among-disadvantaged-youth YoungLEAD Learning Platform: https://epale.ec.europa.eu/en/content/digital-space-leadership-education-younglead-learning-platform YoungLEAD learning units: https://epale.ec.europa.eu/en/content/learning-nuggets-micro-learning-leadership-development The final months also included dissemination events in partner countries, pilot activities in schools, and webinars to share experiences and explore future collaboration opportunities. These events confirmed the value of YoungLEAD materials and demonstrated how easily they can be adapted to different school environments. We are grateful to all teachers, pupils, and partners who contributed to the success of YoungLEAD. While the project formally ends, its resources remain publicly available, ensuring continued support for inclusive leadership education across Europe. Explore

Final Transnational Meeting of the YoungLEAD Project in Prague

On 23–24 September, the final transnational meeting of the YoungLEAD project took place in Prague. Our partners from Spain (Colegio Carlos V, GrowthCoop), Ireland (Instruction and Formation, De La Salle Churchtown), and the Czech Republic (IEPS, ZŠ Strossmayerovo náměstí) came together to reflect on what we have achieved and to plan the final steps of the project. A key topic of the discussions was our online learning platform 💻📚 https://www.youngleadproject.eu/learning-platform — a space full of practical materials that help teachers develop leadership and social skills among pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. The partners also discussed its further use and promotion within schools. Pilot testing and webinars have shown how valuable the platform already is and brought new ideas on how to make it even more engaging and useful in the classroom. The programme also included planning of the multiplier events, during which the project results will be shared with other schools and the public across Europe. 🌍 One of the most inspiring moments of the meeting was the UNESCO Circle workshop 🧑‍🤝‍🧑🔄 – a practical tool that promotes intercultural communication and can be further applied in schools and local communities. Our partners also visited ZŠ Strossmayerovo náměstí, where they joined lessons and saw firsthand how inclusive education and language learning are naturally supported in everyday school life. 🏫👩‍🏫

Final Meeting of the SPECTRUM Project Partners in Prague

On 17–18 September, the final meeting of the international project SPECTRUM – Supporting Elementary School Teachers in Recognizing and Understanding Minors with Special Educational Needs (SEN) took place in Prague. During the joint sessions, we reflected on the results achieved, shared experiences from planning and organising Multiplier Events in different countries, and worked together to identify the best ways to apply the recommendations gathered during the pilot testing of the educational materials. The programme also included a visit to the DYS Centre Prague, which provides professional support to children, adolescents, and adults with specific learning difficulties and/or behavioural disorders – such as dyslexia, dysorthographia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. We had the opportunity to learn more about the centre’s work, its facilities, and its individualised approach to supporting clients. The second day of the meeting was dedicated to two study visits. First, we visited the ZŠGJ primary school, where we explored the school facilities. Then we went to the Centre for the Integration of Children and Youth, where we were warmly welcomed by representatives of the organisation. Both visits offered a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and establish new connections. The meeting in Prague marked the conclusion of two years of joint work and confirmed that the SPECTRUM project outputs can serve as a valuable tool for everyone involved in inclusive education.
