SOFARM project meeting in Rožňava (Slovakia)

On 28 and 29 March, a meeting of international partners of the project "SOFARM - Support of Social and Inclusive Farming" took place in Rožňava, Slovakia, with the aim of gaining and exchanging experience in the field of social farm development. The first day of the meeting the project partners coordinated the project outputs. In particular, we discussed the final form of the „Condition paper“, which will map the situation of social farms in each participating country and whose finalisation is in charge of the German partner Petrarca e.V. We also planned another output „Case studies“, in charge of the Slovak organization Druživa from Rožňava. The basis of the case studies will be interviews with farmers in each country and the document produced should serve as inspiration for all those who are new to social farms or want to learn how this area is approached elsewhere. On the second day of the meeting we visited the social farm Oáza in Valaliky - Barca, which is near Košice. It is a place that serves as a refuge for people in need and homeless. With the support of the local pastor and director of this organization, Mr. Peter Gombita, as well as Mrs. Marta, who was our guide, and others, these people work on the local farm. Earlier this week, the project consortium met online again

The Erasmus+ project AGEADAPT - Adapting SMEs to the Ageing Workforce organised its fourth online meeting of project partners from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain. The topic of the joint meeting was mainly a summary of all the project outputs delivered so far and the launch of further project results and their implementation into the digital educational platform. At the moment, the consortium works hard to publish all gathered examples of good practices in the field of age-management and to finalise adaptation guidelines for owners and managers of SMEs to help them adapt to the changing age structure of their older employees and create a better working environment for them. At the same time, for workers aged 55+ training materials in the form of short learning videos are also being prepared. As part of the dissemination of all the project outputs produced so far, a third newsletter is scheduled to be sent out soon, in which you will be able to find out more details. If you would like to subscribe, please contact us via the contact form on the project website. Stay in touch with us so that you don't miss any news from the world of age-management.
