Second transnational meeting of the AGEADAPT project consortium

The second transnational meeting of the project consortium of the project AGEADAPT – Adaptation Tools for Ageing Workforce in SMEs, organised under the Erasmus+ programme, took place in a virtual environment at the beginning of this week. This time, all partners from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovenia and Spain met online to discuss together the work done so far on benchmarking the situation regarding the exploitation of the potential of 55+ workers in SMEs in each partner country since the start of the project and to plan the following steps for the next project period. First transnational meeting of the EIFNEG consortium

At the end of last week, the first face-to-face meeting of the project consortium for the new project EIFNEG: Emotional Intelligence as a basis for the educational and personal development of the new European generation, took place in Prague. In addition to the Czech partners Gymnasium J. Guth Jarkovský and the Institute of European Professional Studies, the project is also cooperating with the Portuguese partners ASDPESO, the Romanian partners CPIP and Liceul Teoretic William Shakespeare, and the Spanish partners Colegio Séneca S.C.A. and GROWTH COOP. During the first meeting, the partners were introduced to the project objectives, individual results and all organizational issues such as project management and monitoring rules, project evaluation and also very important dissemination, the so-called dissemination of awareness about the project. During the two-day meeting, the foreign partners personally visited the Gymnasium J. Guth-Jarkovský, saw its premises and had the opportunity to look into the teaching process. The next international meeting of the project consortium is scheduled for June this year in Portugal. All project partners are very much looking forward to the next face-to-face meeting and working together on the project.

Launch of the AGEADAPT project in Germany

At the beginning of December 2021, the kick-off meeting of the international consortium of the new ERASMUS+ project on use of the 55+ workforce potential in SMEs, AGEADAPT - Adaptation Tools for Ageing Workforce in SMEs, took place in Schwerin, North Germany. During the meeting the leading partner informed all the project partners about the objectives of the project, the individual deliverables (6 in total), the timetable and the financial aspects of the project. The project aims to create a system of educational materials about age management for SMEs and learning materials for workers aged 55+. The main target groups are: - the small and medium-sized companies that need to prepare for the changing age structure in order to not struggle with their workforce in the near future, - experienced workers above the age of 55 and their need to update their knowledge in independent usage of digital tools in work life, - educational organizations, advisors, consultants, external bodies, non-governmental organizations etc. The main objectives and goals are to provide the ageing workforce with user friendly, simple learning materials to help them adapt to the rapidly changing conditions of their work, to gain practical knowledge in age management and digital technologies, to be digital literate in times that require such competence, and to fully use the potential of senior employees and making them
